Monthly Minutes!

December 14, 2009

The regular meeting of the Tecumseh Township Board was called to order by Clerk Brown at 7:00 P.M.

Clerk Brown led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll call was taken, present were, Clerk Brown, Trustee Lamb, Trustee Feight and Treasurer Bunch. Attorney Brooks was also present. Supervisor Schlegel was absent.

A motion to approve the minutes of the November 9, 2009 meeting was made by Bunch; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Lamb to accept the Treasurer's report as presented and place it on file; seconded by Brown. Motion carried.

Guest Franz Gerschwiler from Skydive Tecumseh spoke with the Board about his plans to open a new restaurant next year. The restaurant will be located next to Meyers-Diver Airport on Tecumseh-Clinton Hwy.

A motion for the approval to pay the bills was made by Lamb; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.

A motion to accept the Building Inspector's report was made by Lamb; seconded by Brown. Motion carried.

Brown made a motion to amend the bills to add the bill for Drain Tax of $2116.53, seconded by Lamb. Motion carried.

Brown made a motion to pay the fee of $75.00 for Trustee Lamb to attend a seminar on Zoning risk management; seconded by Feight. Motion carried.

There being no further business, Feight moved the meeting be adjourned at 7:45 P.M.; seconded by Bunch. Motion carried.
